How does the SmartLipo Triplex™ workstation work?
Smartlipo Triplex™ is designed exclusively to perform laser-assisted lipolysis, commonly referred to as laser liposuction. A very thin tube containing the Smartlipo laser fiber is inserted in targeted fatty areas through a small incision. The laser fiber delivers thermal energy directly to fat cells and disrupts the fatty tissue, allowing the fat to be easily removed through gentle suction. The tissue around the area tightens through coagulation, contributing to an overall smoother shape.
This flexible system offers 1064nm, 1320nm, and 1440nm wavelengths which can be used in single or blended mode. By customizing the wavelengths based on the treatment and patient type, Smartlipo Triplex offers:

Smartlipo Triplex™ Pre & Post Op Information:
Two Weeks Before
- Avoid taking aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, or Vitamin E. Tylenol is acceptable.
- Refrain from all nicotine products
- If there is any chance you are pregnant, we will cancel the procedure
One Week Before
- Drink a lot of water daily to stay well-hydrated.
- Do not consume alcohol.
- Blood pregnancy test needs to be done
Day of Procedure
- Shower and shampoo in the morning; avoid lotions or creams.
- Wear loose clothing, and skip jewelry and valuables.
- Eat a light meal 2 hours before the procedure.
- Take antibiotics as directed and bring anti-anxiety medication to the office.
Post Op
- Arrange for a ride home and avoid driving for 24 hours.
- Limit activities and avoid vigorous exercise for at least 3 weeks.
- Swelling and bruising are normal; drainage from incisions is expected the first night.
- Use absorbent gauze pads as needed and sleep on a waterproof pad.
- Manage discomfort with Tylenol and drink plenty of fluids.
- Wear the compression garment for 3-4 weeks
Day after
One Week After
We will see you for a follow-up appointment to check your progress and remove the stitches. Subsequent follow-ups will be scheduled at one month and three months to take before and after pictures and assess your results.
